Michael Hreha founded AIS in July of 1987 after 11 years at Hughes Aircraft Microwave Dynamics Division (Torrance, CA) as a Senior Scientist.  At Hughes, he worked on communications programs such as AWG-9 Radar System and NATO JTIDS millimeter wave broadcast system.  Prior to Hughes, Michael worked for Micromega (Burker/Ramo) where he headed up the Solid State RF Group.  There he developed a successful product line of crystal controlled phase-locked gunn oscillators, transistor oscillators, diode frequency multipliers, and high-power RF transistor amplifiers. In the very early days (the 60's), Michael worked for General Electric Syracuse where he specialized in microwave, UHF and VHF communication equipment designs for G.E.'s military systems.
